Spring Creek 85cc 12-15 By Team-Kixsquest | Tue May 06, 2008 at 02:16:10 PM EST There were 19 riders in the 85cc 12-15 class and Jeremy Martin, #144 was a blur in red, white and blue!

In the first moto, #121, Jeremy Juliot took the holeshot with Jeremy Martin taking the outside quickly working his way past Juliot.  Once in the lead, Martin ran away taking the win.  Meanwhile, #86, Luke Sanville rode in third position until #850, Cody Breeden (Iowa) passed Sanville.  But, Breeden didn't have time to enjoy the 3rd spot for long before  #83, Brandon Riehm jumped past him moving into 3rd.  Then Riehm put his sights on Juliot.  Juliot did a great job holding Riehm off but Riehm was one determined racer!  He made his pass on Juliot to take 2nd in the first moto.

In moto two, Juliot took the holeshot once again with Breeden behind him.  Martin made the pass on Breeden in the back though Breeden tried to block him.  Juliot must have run into trouble because Martin moved into first.    #621, Jordan Ihle put the heat on Breeden and #221, Kurtiss Endres tailed Ihle.

Breeden, Ihle and Endres were flying into the turn before the finish line and Breeden literally got sandwiched in between the other two riders and his bike stalled.  He was stuck in a rut and could not get his bike started.  My heart went out to him because I could feel his frustration all the way across the track.  He threw his goggles over the fence in exasperation while one of the staff helped him get his bike off the track.

Martin took the win, Ihle second and Endres third.  Great racing!
